This table has a double bamboo top supported by a poplar base that doesn't reveal its complexity at first glance, but requires a second look to explore its intersecting lines. The two-tiered top acts a storage area for books, work materials, flatware, place settings, etc. The finish is conversion varnish for the top and catalyzed lacquer for the base.
